Summary of Role:

As our Interim Director of Development & Marketing, you will serve as the strategic anchor for our Growth department during a leadership transition. You will lead our Marketing and Fundraising teams, ensuring that our mission-driven initiatives continue to scale and that our global partnerships remain strong and productive.

What Will You Do?

  • Provide high-level leadership and oversight for the Marketing (Social Media, Content) and Fundraising (Grants, Corporate, Individual Giving) teams.
  • Set, track, and review KPIs and OKRs to ensure team accountability and momentum.
  • Represent Solution Community in high-level meetings and negotiations with external corporate partners and donors.
  • Solve operational bottlenecks and provide subject-matter guidance to team leads within the Growth department.
  • Collaborate with the Executive team to ensure growth strategies align with the overall product and social impact roadmap.
  • Manage cross-functional workflows to deliver high-quality marketing campaigns and fundraising proposals.
  • Ensure a smooth operational handoff and transition of responsibilities upon the permanent Growth leader's return.

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Proven leadership experience in a Director, Head of, or C-level capacity, preferably within Tech or Non-profit sectors.
  • Deep expertise, 8-10 years of experience in either Development (Fundraising/Partnerships) or Marketing, with the ability to manage both functions effectively.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to manage complex systems and remote global teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills for representing the organization to external stakeholders.
  • Commitment to Solution Community’s mission, values, and professional volunteer culture.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain high accountability in a fast-moving, remote environment.
