
Infant Hearing Screener
The Infant Hearing Program of Eastern-Ontario provides universal hearing screening to newborns and infants to help identify those who may have been born Deaf, hard of hearing or at risk of developing hearing loss in early childhood. The Infant Hearing Screener will plan and implement community-based screening services and support client monitoring and follow-up.

This position will serve families at various locations throughout the City of Ottawa, with primary focus on the Central-to-East end of the City.
On-the-job Training: We provide comprehensive on-the-job training to gain necessary skills and aptitude required to be successful in this position.
This is an ideal role for you if:
- You're comfortable working with infants
- You have an appetite for learning new skills
- You're comfortable having sensitive conversations with parents
- You're bilingual (English and French)
- You have post-secondary education in hearing health, communicative disorders, early childhood education, human services, health care or rehabilitation services
- You appreciate consistent service delivery and protocol driven environment
- You enjoy variety in your work environments and have interest in learning about different communities throughout the city
