(India) Volunteer with us and help children unlock their fullest potential

Shanti Bhavan is a residential school exclusively for children born into India’s lowest socioeconomic class. All enrolled students come from families earning less than two dollars a day. Shanti Bhavan is the only school of its kind to provide seventeen years of high-quality education for each child free of charge.

WHAT MAKES SHANTI BHAVAN UNIQUE?

Most nonprofit organizations employ a basic literacy model whose short-term focus is ineffective at breaking the cycle of poverty. We represent a radical shift in nonprofit education. Shanti Bhavan graduates have a 100% university acceptance rate, work at Fortune 500 companies, and contribute up to 60% of their salaries to their families and communities to help end the poverty that has trapped their communities for generations.

VOLUNTEER WITH US
Shanti Bhavan volunteers are vital in shaping the next generation of global leaders. They provide invaluable classroom support, tutor students, and lead co-curricular activities like public speaking and debate. In return, volunteers gain meaningful experiences and skills that enhance their professional growth. Their diverse perspectives introduce students to new cultures and ideas, ensuring a well-rounded education that empowers them to succeed in an interconnected world.
