Position Title: Human Resources Student Placement
Placement Type: Hybrid
Location: 3333 Finch Ave East
Start Date: Tuesday, September 02, 2025
End Date: Friday, December 19, 2025
Placement Hours: Monday – Friday 10:30 am – 5:30 pm
Reports to: Human Resources Coordinator
Responsibilities:

Supporting recruitment, onboarding orientation activities

Supporting Training initiatives
-
Supporting HR events and initiatives
-
Maintains Human Resource records
-
Assists the Health and Safety programs and initiatives
-
Performs other support duties
Skills & Qualifications:
-
Must be enrolled in a Human Resources Management diploma, degree, or certificate program with a recognized college or university.

Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Organization skills and accurate filing and record-keeping.

Ability to multitask and prioritize.

Verbal and written communication skills.

Good interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality of information.

Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Action-oriented and results-oriented.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a multicultural team.
Experience:
-
Previous experience in Administration, Recruitment or HRIS systems is an asset.

Basic knowledge of Human Resources Management.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Working Conditions:

Regular interruptions to support staff and supervisors.
-
Regular exposure to computer terminal.
-
May be exposed to contagious diseases.

Required to work occasional evening or weekend hours.
Supervision and Evaluation:

Supervision and support will be provided by the Human Resources Coordinator.
Other:

Vulnerable Service Sector Check screening is mandatory.

Proof of full vaccination or Medical Exemption Certificate is mandatory.
