Position Title: Human Resources Generalist (Boucher Campus)

Do you want to work for an organization where people care about each other? We are currently looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Human Resources Generalist. In this challenging position, you will report to the Executive Director, Human Resources and be responsible for developing, implementing and coordinating a variety of human resources initiatives, services and programs, which encourage organizational efficiency and effectiveness. The position works in conjunction with CCNM’s employees, management and faculty to foster an inclusive, supportive and employee centered organization. This position works collaboratively with the Toronto Human Resources team to ensure consistent provision of services across campuses.
You will oversee and provide service in the following functions:
- Orientation, Onboarding and Exit Management
- Payroll and Time Management
- Recruitment Management
- Management Support
- Health and Safety
- Faculty Recruitment and Contract Management Support
This position requires to be in-person at the BC Campus.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-Secondary education in related field
- Completion of a recognized Human Resources management diploma program or equivalent
- Recognized CPHR designation an asset
- Highly developed computer literacy in all range of programs such as MS Word, Excel, Power Point, HRIS and Payroll software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision in fast paced environment
- Knowledge of relevant employment legislation
- Excellent written and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of persons both internally and externally
- Excellent interpersonal skills and tact and judgment to deal with all levels of staff, faculty and students
- Strong analytical abilities
- Able to multi-task and demonstrates a high level of detail orientation
The base rate of this position is $63,500.00
The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), established in 1978, is Canada's premier, pan-Canadian academic institution for education and research in naturopathic medicine. CCNM has two campuses, one in Toronto and another in the Metro Vancouver area known as the Boucher Campus. Its graduates are eligible to write the licensing examinations for all regulated jurisdictions in Canada and the United States to become naturopathic doctors.
