About LandSeed

LandSeed is a non-profit committed to reimagining entry-level housing for future generations. Our goal is to create inclusive communities where homeownership is accessible for all, and everyone has the opportunity to build a stable, fulfilling future. At LandSeed, we create solutions for the Canadian housing crisis by collaborating with communities and industry partners to identify barriers and create real pathways to homeownership.

How This Opportunity Benefits You

As HR Lead, you will be a founding architect of LandSeed’s people strategy. This is an opportunity to build HR processes, policies, and culture from the ground up — shaping everything from recruitment pipelines to mentorship programs to performance frameworks. You’ll gain hands-on experience leading HR in a growing nonprofit, work closely with executive leadership, and play a key role in creating a workplace that is inclusive, efficient, and aligned with LandSeed’s mission. As our funding grows, this position is expected to transition into a well-compensated senior HR leadership role.

How LandSeed Benefits from Your Contribution

LandSeed will benefit from your expertise in creating structured HR systems, streamlining workflows, and ensuring that the right people are in the right roles at the right time. Your leadership will enable us to scale efficiently, maintain compliance, and foster a culture of collaboration and growth. By managing recruitment, onboarding, mentorship, and HR documentation, you will help LandSeed attract top talent, retain key volunteers, and create a healthy, productive organizational culture.
