Hot August Nights - On Behalf of Make-A-Wish!

Be part of the excitement at Hot August Nights, a lively two-day car show where a section of George Street in Sydney transforms into a vibrant community event! With classic cars, great food, and a festive atmosphere, this is a fantastic opportunity to get involved and support a fun local fundraiser.

📍 Location: Across from Tim Hortons, George Street, Sydney, NS
📅 Dates: August 7 & 8, 2026
🕒 Time: 5:00 PM – 9:30 PM (each night)

Volunteer Roles:
We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help bring the event to life in a variety of roles:

• 💵 Cashier (1 per night): Handle cash transactions, make change, and process online payments for food items.
• 🍔 Food Assembly Team (4 per night): Work together in an assembly line to prepare and serve BBQ favourites like burgers, hot dogs, and beverages.
• 🔥 Head Cook (2 per night): Take charge of the BBQ grill—cooking and serving up delicious items (shifts will be shared).
• 🎟️ 50/50 Ticket Sellers (2–3 per night): Engage with attendees and sell 50/50 tickets to support fundraising efforts.

This is a fun, fast-paced opportunity to connect with your community, enjoy a lively event, and make a meaningful impact.
