Help Prepare Lunches for the Community (One-time)

Calgary Meals on Wheels improves the food security and well-being in the community by preparing and delivering nutritious, quality, and affordable meals. We have been delivering meals since 1965 and have delivered over 1 million meals each year for the past 4 years.

This is a unique opportunity to step behind the scenes in our kitchen and support the preparation of meals that help strengthen connections across Calgary. Working in small teams, you'll prepare sandwiches and desserts, assemble lunch boxes, and package them for distribution in the community. It's a hands-on, social, and fun way to see our work in action and support community connections.

Details:

- Spaces available between June 30 and July 10.

- Volunteer shifts are 9:00am - 12:00pm.

- You will receive an orientation and detailed instructions from our Production team upon arrival.

- You must be 16 years or older to volunteer in our commercial kitchen.
