Solution Community is an international 501(c)(3) non-profit organization building a global platform for actionable social impact. With volunteers from 70+ countries, we connect nonprofits, businesses, philanthropists, and volunteers to solve real-world problems through collaboration, technology, and execution.

Our Mission

To foster a global community of compassion, uniting people and organizations to solve the world’s social problems.

Our Vision

A world where collaboration, clarity, and action enable every person and organization to create meaningful impact.

Summary of Role

As Head of Organizational Performance, you are our internal “Moneyball” leader. Your job is to objectively analyze how the organization is actually working, identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and drive real improvements across teams.

This is not an HR role.

This is not a coordination role.

This is a systems, performance, and execution role.

You will work directly with the Founder and all team leaders to diagnose what’s broken, redesign how work flows, and help implement solutions that measurably improve outcomes.

What will you do?

  • Organizational Analysis: Analyze performance across all teams (Build, Growth, Fundraising, People, Operations) using data, outputs, and real workflows—not assumptions.
  • Bottleneck Identification: Identify inefficiencies, role misalignment, process breakdowns, and low-impact activities.
  • Performance Insights: Translate observations into clear, actionable insights for leadership.
  • Solution Design: Propose practical changes to structure, workflows, decision-making, and execution.
  • Implementation Support: Personally implement improvements or work closely with leaders to ensure changes actually happen.
  • Cross-Team Alignment: Help teams work together more effectively by improving interfaces, handoffs, and accountability.
  • Impact Tracking: Define success metrics and track pre- and post-performance to validate what works.
  • Leadership Partnership: Act as a trusted performance advisor to the Founder and leadership team, willing to challenge assumptions when needed.

Tools & Ways of Working

  • ClickUp: Track initiatives, performance improvements, and implementation progress
  • Slack: Primary communication and collaboration tool
  • Google Workspace: Docs, analysis, and coordination
  • AI Tools: ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar for analysis, synthesis, and decision support

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Strong Systems Thinker: You naturally see organizations as systems rather than silos.
  • Data-Informed Operator: You rely on evidence, patterns, and outcomes—not politics or intuition alone.
  • Execution-Oriented: You don’t stop at recommendations; you help make change real.
  • Cross-Functional Experience: At least 5 years of experience in operations, strategy, analytics, consulting, startups, or scaling organizations.
  • Direct Communicator: Comfortably surfacing uncomfortable truths respectfully and constructively.
  • Founder-Level Trust: Able to work closely with senior leaders while remaining objective.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience improving performance in nonprofits, startups, or fast-growing organizations
  • Background in operational analytics, process optimization, or organizational design
  • Experience working across technical and non-technical teams

What We Offer

  • Meaningful Impact: Your work directly improves how a global nonprofit creates real-world change.
  • Strategic Influence: Direct access to leadership and the ability to shape how the organization operates.
  • Global Collaboration: Work with mission-driven leaders and professionals from around the world.
  • Autonomy: Freedom to analyze, think deeply, and act without bureaucracy.
  • Growth & Recognition: Build a rare, high-impact skill set and receive a strong recommendation after meaningful contribution.
