Crohn’s and Colitis Canada mission is to find cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and to improve the lives of the millions of Canadians living with these chronic illnesses. Volunteers are at the heart of this mission, and your creativity can help make a real difference. As a volunteer with Crohn’s and Colitis Canada, the impact of your efforts will be felt by Canadians affected by Crohn's or colitis today, and for years to come.
We’re looking for confident, creative, and passionate individuals to join our team as Gutsy Runway Models. You’ll be part of a bold, one-of-a-kind fashion show where toilet paper couture takes center stage.
Are you the right fit for the team?
As a Gutsy Runway Model, you will bring toilet paper couture to life on the Gutsy Runway stage! Whether you're modeling your own design or showcasing a creation by one of our volunteer designers, you'll help raise awareness and funds for Crohn’s and Colitis Canada in a bold, creative, and unforgettable way.
What you’ll do:
- Follow Crohn’s and Colitis Canada policies and procedures, including the Volunteer Code of Conduct.
- Model a toilet paper dress—either your own creation or one designed by a volunteer designer.
- Attend fittings (if needed) to make sure your outfit fits and flows just right.
- Walk the runway with confidence and flair at our event.
- Fundraise by creating a personal fundraising page and inviting friends, family, and your network to donate.
- Spread the word on social media (optional but encouraged).
This role involves in-person interactions.
Date & Location:
- Friday, November 28, 2025, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Chartwell Meadowbrook, 18 Jacobson Drive, Lively, ON.
Time Commitment:
- Fittings and prep are scheduled based on your availability.
- Be available from 5:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. on November 28 to walk the runway.
What you bring:
- Confident & Charismatic – love being in front of people and cameras.
- Creative – excited about unique fashion and having fun with it.
- A Team Player – ready to collaborate with designers and event staff.
- Passionate – about making a difference and supporting a meaningful cause.
- Experienced – modeling experience is great, but not required.
