Salary Range: $50,000 to $55,000 annually, plus benefits

Are you a creative and passionate graphic designer looking to make a meaningful impact? Effect Hope is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Graphic Designer.

As the Graphic Designer at Effect Hope you will play a crucial role in creating visually compelling designs that communicate our mission and engage our audience. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the organization to produce a variety of digital and print materials that support our campaigns and initiatives. Additionally, you will work with external vendors, including other designers, to execute projects of varying sizes and complexities. Through innovative design and creative concepts, you’ll elevate our brand and drive engagement, supporting organizational growth.

What You Bring to the Role

REQUIRED

• Post-secondary diploma in graphic design (or equivalent work experience)
• Demonstrable experience in graphic design including:

o Promotional materials/collateral for events o Digital media, including web (i.e., campaign landing pages) and social media (including paid ad assets) o Reports, brochures and catalogues o Direct mail and letter templates

• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and digital design tools including Canva.
• Well versed in both digital and print graphic processes.
• A commitment to, and alignment with, the Christian mandate of Effect Hope and Christian values.

PREFERRED

• Proficient in using Microsoft 365 applications for personal productivity and collaboration.
• Experience designing within email platforms (Mailchimp an asset), including templates and email-friendly layouts/graphics.
• Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects) and creating simple animations for digital channels (i.e., reels).
• Knowledge of web design and accessibility principles (Wordpress experience an asset)
