Position type: Volunteer
Time Commitment: 10 hours per week
Purpose of the Role: Identify, track, and manage grant opportunities aligned with
Universal Limbs Foundation’s mission, with a focus on Canadian and international
funders.
K E Y R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S :
- Research grant opportunities (government, foundations, innovation, humanitarian,
health). - Maintain a grant pipeline tracker (deadlines, eligibility, status).
- Match funding opportunities with ULF programs (R&D, implementation, humanitarian
response). - Share recommendations with the Fundraising Lead and Finance Director.
- Monitor reporting obligations for awarded grants.
Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S & S K I L L S :
- Experience in grant research, nonprofit development, or fundraising.
- Familiarity with Canadian grant ecosystems (CRA, foundations, public funders) is a
strong asset. - Strong research, organization, and documentation skills.
- Ability to assess eligibility and compliance requirements.
