Position Overview

Samawada is seeking a motivated and passionate Fundraising Specialist to support our fundraising efforts and help expand our donor network. This role will focus on developing fundraising strategies, engaging donors, and supporting campaigns that fund clean water projects and community programs.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in nonprofit fundraising, donor relations, and social impact.

What You Will Do

Develop and support fundraising campaigns to raise funds for Samawada’s programs.

Identify and engage potential donors, sponsors, and partners.

Assist in creating fundraising materials such as proposals, presentations, and donor outreach messages.

Help organize online fundraising events and campaigns.

Build and maintain relationships with individual donors and supporters.

Support donor communication, including thank-you messages and impact updates.

Collaborate with the communications and grant writing teams to align fundraising strategies.

Track fundraising progress and maintain donor records in CRM systems.

Identify new fundraising opportunities and innovative donor engagement strategies.

What We Are Looking For

Interest or experience in fundraising, nonprofit development, or donor relations.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Passion for humanitarian work and community development.

Nice to Have

Experience working with nonprofit fundraising campaigns.

Familiarity with donor management systems or CRM platforms.

Experience with crowdfunding or digital fundraising platforms.

Knowledge of corporate sponsorship or partnership development.
