Fundraising Manager, Major Gifts

In this key role, you will manage a portfolio of 150+ donors, prospects, corporations, and foundations. You will work alongside our external consultants, the Director of Engagement, and the MarCom team to deepen donor engagement and foster a strong culture of giving across the organization. You will also align fundraising strategies with organizational goals, expand the donor base through networks and partnerships, and drive innovation in philanthropy.

What you will do:

• Cultivate, solicit, and steward major and planned gifts
• Lead personalized donor engagement strategies and events
• Manage proposals for corporate/foundation giving
• Launch and grow our legacy giving program
• Maintain accurate records using Raiser’s Edge (or similar CRM)
• Support donor conversion strategies, including alumni engagement
• Collaborate with international teams on new fundraising initiatives

What you bring

• 5+ years in fundraising, with a focus on major gifts
• Proven success in securing gifts from individuals or institutions
• Strong communication and proposal-writing skills
• Experience in donor cultivation and moves management
• Willingness to travel nationally/internationally
