Fundraising Coordinator
Purpose:
Support our new think tank in securing the resources needed to advance our mission: educating Canadians, government-adjacent professionals, and nonprofit partners on key policy and civic issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Online Fundraising: Assist with donor research, email campaigns, crowdfunding initiatives, and social media fundraising efforts.
In-Person Fundraising: Support donor outreach, grants, events, sponsorship engagement, and community fundraising activities.
This role supports our fundraising efforts through both digital campaigns (social media, online giving) and in-person engagement (events, sponsorship outreach, grants). The focus will depend on upcoming initiatives and the volunteer’s skills.
Collaboration: Work closely with management, volunteer coordinator, and other volunteers to track progress and share results.
Time Commitment: ~10 hours/month (flexible depending on availability)
Duration: 6-12 months (with potential for renewal)
Skills / Qualifications:
Interest in fundraising and civic engagement
Strong communication and organizational skills
Comfortable with basic online tools (email, spreadsheets, CRM optional)
Experience is a bonus but not required
