POSITION SUMMARY:

Project SHARE is seeking a Fundraising & Community Engagement Specialist. Reporting to the Executive Director,the Fundraising & Community Engagement Specialist will lead all fundraising activities, including events, donor engagement, sponsorships, and community campaigns. This role plays a key part in sustaining and growing the organization’s impact in the Niagara Falls community; working closely with department staff, a volunteer fundraising committee, the Executive Director, donors, and community partners to plan and implement campaigns and generate support for our mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute annual fundraising strategies and campaigns
  • Lead fundraising events and community initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners
  • Oversee donation platforms and fundraising-related website content
  • Track fundraising performance and prepare reports
  • Collaborate with staff, volunteers, and the Board on fundraising initiatives

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years experience in fundraising, non-profit development, or community engagement
  • Experience planning fundraising events and campaigns
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable using digital tools and fundraising platforms
  • Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
