About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fundraising Associate to provide essential support to the Executive Director and fundraising team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in fundraising, donor relations, and event coordination while contributing to the success of a professional and fast-paced organization.
This is a full-time, in-office position (5 days per week), with occasional evening and weekend work for events. Office Location: Etobicoke, Ontario.
What You’ll Do
• Provide day-to-day administrative support including calendar management, filing, and record-
keeping.
• Assist with fundraising activities such as preparing thank-you letters, donor communications,
and tracking contributions.
• Conduct basic research on donors and partners to support fundraising initiatives.
• Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and donor engagements.
• Help prepare presentations, reports, and briefing materials for the fundraising team.
• Support fundraising events by managing guest lists, processing payments, responding to
inquiries, creating name tags, and providing on-site assistance.
• Help track event schedules and maintain fundraising calendars.
• Assist with basic office operations, including inventory management and vendor coordination.
• Attend events as required.
What You Bring
• Interest in and alignment with the Ontario PC Party’s mission, principles, and accomplishments.
• 1–2 years of experience in administration, event coordination, customer service, or a related
field (nonprofit or fundraising experience an asset).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
• At ease contacting donors to share fundraising opportunities.
• Comfortable learning new software: proficiency in Microsoft Office required, and training will
be provided on fundraising/CRM databases.
• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in administration, business, events or
nonprofit industries preferred.
• A positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Valid “G” class driver’s license and willingness to travel within Ontario.
• Must be located in Ontario and legally able to work in Canada.
