What you will do

• Identify and research potential funding opportunities and grants that align with our organization's mission and goals.
• Prepare and submit grant applications and proposals to secure funding for various projects and initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of funding sources, grant applications, and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with the board to ensure alignment of funding strategies with organizational objectives.
• Monitor and report on the progress of funded projects and ensure compliance with grant conditions.

What we are looking for

• Experience in grant writing and fundraising.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in the non-profit sector is helpful.
• Familiarity with funding sources in Canada is helpful.
