Fund Development Lead (Volunteer)
Women’s Initiatives for Safer environments (WISE) is seeking a motivated individual to serve part-time as lead of a committee performing a critical funding need for the organization.
As part of a broader Strategic Plan recently adopted by WISE, the Finance & Fundraising Committee is seeking a Fund Development Lead to ultimately help develop a new funding plan and increase the financial stability of WISE.
The Fund Development Lead will:
- Meet regularly to guide committee members to implement the key activities identified in the Strategic Plan under Priority 1: “Strengthening WISE’s financial stability to enhance impact and sustainability”.
- Provide coordination & support to ensure that tasks are completed & timelines are met.
- Act as spokesperson in reporting to the Board of Directors at monthly Board meetings.
- Work with the Finance & Fundraising Committee to ultimately guide the development of a funding development package to help WISE in its goal to increase funding and financial stability.
All are welcome to indicate their interest in this position. It is not necessary that the Lead be already connected with WISE. It would be an asset if this individual has experience in Finance. Please note, this is a part-time volunteer position (maximum 3h/week).
If this interests you, please contact the Strategic Planning Working Group Chair Hailey DiCaita at hailey.dicaita@hotmail.ca by September 30.
