About Gilda’s Club Simcoe Muskoka

Gilda’s Club Simcoe Muskoka is a non‑profit cancer support community that provides free social and emotional support to individuals and families impacted by cancer. Rooted in compassion and connection, we offer programs, resources, and events that help people build community, find strength, and share hope during one of life’s most challenging experiences.

We are currently looking for warm, reliable, and community-minded volunteers to join our team as a Front Desk Geeter.

Front Desk Volunteers – The First Friendly Face

Our front desk volunteers help create the sense of belonging that defines Gilda’s Club.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome members, guests, and visitors with warmth and compassion
• Answer phones and respond to general inquiries
• Support program sign-ins and light administrative tasks
• Help maintain a calm, organized, and welcoming clubhouse environment

You’re a great fit if you:

Enjoy connecting with people and creating a positive first impression

Are organized, dependable, and comfortable with basic computer tasks
