Free AI + Career Skills Opportunity for Youth (Hybrid, Greater Toronto Area)

Youth Challenge International has launched a new (and free!) skill building opportunity to help young people in York Region navigate the future of work: Skills Generator: Human x Tech.

What you’ll gain:

• Strengthen in-demand skills to support your career and resume
• Explore how to use AI – ethically and effectively – in real-life situations
• Work on real community challenges with a team of your peers
• Network with other young people, municipal government and industry leaders

Program Format:

A mix of virtual workshops, mentorship and in-person events in Vaughan; the time commitment is low! Only ~3 hours/week.

Important Dates:

• Vaughan cohort: September 25 – November 26, 2026
• Sign up by Monday September 14

Who should sign up:

• Youth Ages 18–24: Priority for those who are facing barriers to employment
• Living in or near York Region: In-person events are in Vaughan
• Open to all backgrounds: Zero experience required.
