Child and Family Services of Grand Erie Foundation is seeking passionate, strategic, and community‑minded leaders to join our Board of Directors. As a board member, you will play a vital role in shaping the vision, governance, and long‑term impact of our organization. We are looking for individuals who bring diverse perspectives, professional expertise, and a commitment to strengthening our mission.
Role Overview
Board members serve as ambassadors, stewards, and strategic partners of the Foundation. You will help guide organizational priorities, ensure strong financial oversight, and support the development of programs that create meaningful and lasting change.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and participate in long‑term planning
- Ensure strong governance and uphold the Foundation’s mission and values
- Review and approve budgets, financial statements, and major organizational decisions
- Support fundraising efforts through advocacy, networking, and personal engagement
- Attend board meetings, committee meetings, and key Foundation events
- Act as a champion for the Foundation within the community
Desired Qualifications

- Nonprofit leadership or governance

Time Commitment
Board members typically serve a 2‑year term and attend six board meetings per year. Additional time may be required for special initiatives or events.
