Food Delivery Driver (Meals on Wheels)

Meals on Wheels is a non profit service, providing hot meals to seniors in our community Monday-Friday. Meals are prepared at the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization, divided into routes and are ready for pick-up by volunteer drivers by 10am. Routes are typically completed by 12pm or earlier.

Scheduling can be flexible and both committed drivers (weekly) or casual drivers (1-2 times a month) are encouraged to apply.

Volunteers are required to use their personal vehicle, have a valid drivers license, liability insurance, and have the ability to walk, climb stairs, and carry a grocery bag.

Learn practical skills, teamwork, and socialize with our community members who may be isolated in their homes.

We can write reference letters for our volunteers when needed, track hours your for LSCO membership discounts, and have complimentary coffee/tea at our Diner.

Income tax receipts are given for mileage. This donation tax receipt helps to off set the costs associated with operating your vehicle while volunteering with us.
