In today’s rapidly evolving digital and financial landscape, access to knowledge and the ability to manage financial resources effectively are essential for personal growth and economic empowerment. Through its programs, the foundation aims to equip participants with practical skills, knowledge, and confidence to navigate both digital and financial environments successfully.

Position Overview

The Financial Facilitator will play an important role in supporting the foundation’s educational initiatives by delivering basic financial knowledge and guidance to program participants. The volunteer will facilitate virtual sessions focused on financial literacy, budgeting, savings, and basic financial management concepts. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about community development and eager to empower others by sharing their financial knowledge and practical skills in an accessible and engaging way.

Responsibilities

The Financial Facilitator will:

  • design and deliver interactive virtual sessions that introduce participants to essential financial concepts such as budgeting, saving strategies, basic accounting principles, and financial planning.
  • support participants in understanding financial tools and practices that can help them manage their personal or small business finances effectively.
  • collaborate with the Programs Manager to prepare learning materials, encourage participant engagement, and ensure that the sessions are inclusive, practical, and relevant to the needs of diverse learners.

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

Experience

  • Proven experience in teaching, training, or facilitating workshops, particularly in Financial Facilitator-related fields.
  • Experience working with diverse groups of learners, including individuals with different learning backgrounds.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and financial tools for virtual training (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience with good knowledge of accounting, finance, and financial management.

Language

  • Must be able to speak Dari, or Pashto, or Persian
