About us
The Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario (LDAO) is a registered charity committed to improving the lives of children, youth, and adults with learning disabilities (LDs) and co-occurring conditions such as ADHD. We provide leadership in advocacy, research, education, and services, ensuring these individuals can fully participate in society.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing full-cycle bookkeeping (AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, CRA remittances).
- Supporting financial reporting for the Ministry of Education, auditors, and the Board.
- Maintaining accurate accounting, audit records, and corporate filings.
- Preparing variance analyses and providing recommendations.
What we are looking for
- A diploma/degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- At least 4 years of bookkeeping/finance experience (non-profit preferred).
- Knowledge of ASNPO standards and QuickBooks (asset).
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Contract details
- Part-time (2 days/week), hybrid work (in-office Mon/Thu as needed), $35/hour contractor role (no benefits).
