ORGANIZATION Based in Toronto, Endeavour Volunteer Consulting for Non-Profits is a Canadian charity, 100% volunteer- led that provides management consulting to improve organizational capacity and community impact for non-profits that otherwise cannot afford professional consulting. Endeavour has two consulting engagement rounds during the year, in the fall and in the spring. For each round, Endeavour will recruit and match teams of skilled volunteers with non-profit organizations in need of pro bono consulting. Since 2007, Endeavour has engaged more than 1000 volunteers on over 134 projects, delivering more than $8 million in pro bono consulting to local, national and international non-profits based in Canada. ROLE Endeavour Consulting for Non-Profits is seeking a Finance Specialist to support the organization’s financial operations, compliance, and reporting. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, timely regulatory filings, and strong financial governance for the organization. The Finance Specialist will work closely with the VP of Finance and leadership team to support month- end close, annual filings, and ongoing regulatory and compliance requirements for Ontario-registered non-profits. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and review month-end financial statements, including income statement, balance sheet, and supporting schedules

• Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness

• Assist with Ontario regulatory compliance, including director registration, annual filings, and required updates

• Support ad-hoc finance projects as needed (e.g., process clean-up, reporting enhancements, policy documentation)

• Support annual tax filings and statutory submissions QUALIFICATIONS

• Eligibility to work in Canada
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in accounting or finance roles
• Experience preparing or supporting annual tax filings (e.g., T2, T3010, or equivalent)
• Familiarity with non-profit financial reporting and fund accounting principles
• Knowledge of Ontario non-profit compliance requirements, including director registration and

regulatory filings
• High attention to detail with strong documentation and reconciliation skills
• Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, reconciliations, basic financial analysis)
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate clearly with non-finance

stakeholders
