
Finance Manager

The Finance Manager is responsible for financial planning, analysis, reporting, and compliance activities. This role ensures financial integrity, supports strategic decision-making, and manages budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls. The Finance Manager partners closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
- Analyze financial performance, variances, and trends; provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Prepare financial models to support strategic initiatives, investments, and operational decisions.
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP or applicable accounting standards.
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activity for accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate audits, tax filings, and interactions with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
- Maintain and improve financial policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop finance or accounting staff as applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or financial management.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency with accounting systems and financial tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with high accuracy.
- CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
- Familiarity with financial systems implementations or process automation.
