Finance Director

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Finance Director is a senior leadership role responsible for steering an organization’s financial
strategy, ensuring fiscal discipline, and aligning financial operations with business goals. The Finance Director leads budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and risk management, serving as a strategic advisor to executive leadership and the board.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Developing and implementing long-term financial strategies that support sustainable growth
    and operational scalability.
  • Overseeing annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
  • Managing internal controls, audit processes, and risk mitigation frameworks.
  • Supervising finance teams across accounting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), compliance,
    and treasury functions.
  • Collaborating with department heads to align budgets with operational execution.
  • Providing financial insights and recommendations on capital structure, investments, and cost
    management.
  • Leading the implementation of financial systems such as ERP and reporting platforms.
  • Communicating financial performance and strategic pivots to the board and stakeholders.


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION:
We are looking for someone with experience in grant writing and management, with organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively.
