Finance Committee member - Accountant

Supporting both the treasurer and the bookkeeper, the finance committee member - Accountant would provide guidance on accounting practices for not for profits.

CPA (or similar experience) with knowledge of quickbooks and not for profit practices.

Reviewing accounting entries, preparing reports for senior staff and board members to understand financial position as well as reconciling funder budgets to actuals.

Participation in once a month review with the finance team, Liason with Auditors at fiscal year end (generally in March for Dec YE), occasional questions/corrections with the bookkeeper.
