Executive Director/Registrar

The Saskatchewan Dental Therapists Association (SDTA) is seeking a full time (0.8-1.0 FTE) Executive Director/Registrar who will hold the primary responsibility for the operational and administrative functions of the SDTA to support the SDTA Council and registrants and is the lead policy and regulatory resource within the association. The position will be a two-year term initially with the possibility of an extension.

This position will provide leadership in carrying out action plans towards achievement of goals and objectives as directed by the SDTA Council. The position acts as a key resource to the Council regarding legislation, regulations, bylaws and SDTA operations; monitors the SDTA’s regulatory and operational policy frameworks to ensure currency, relevance and makes recommendations as appropriate; remains current on developments and ensures the SDTA Council is aware of emerging trends and concerns; and maintains collaborative relationships with registrants, other dental professionals, partners and stakeholders.

The position also handles all administrative functions including finances, registrant registration and licensing, communications, planning and execution of various meetings, and support the SDTA Council committee work as necessary.
