Under the direction of the Board, the Executive Director leads our organization towards achieving its mission and long-term goals. The Executive Director provides strategic and operational leadership to each facility in accordance with the overall strategic direction set by the Board. This role requires a visionary individual capable of managing complex projects, fostering organizational growth, and inspiring teams to excel. The Executive Director will serve as the primary representative of the organization, engaging with regulatory bodies, residents, the community, and other external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Participate with the Board to develop and implement strategic plans aligned with organizational objectives.
- Lead and oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness
- Recruitment, performance management and development of employees and volunteers.
- Promote a positive organizational culture focused on innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure quality care delivery is aligned with applicable legislation and professional standards.
- Oversee all resident relations for satisfaction and quality of care.
- Manage organizational budgets, resources, and fundraising activities to ensure financial sustainability.
- Oversee property management operations, ensuring the portfolio meets its financial goals.
- Negotiate with vendors, partners, and other external entities to secure favorable terms.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancement and organizational advancement.
- Represent the organization at public events, conferences, and meetings to enhance visibility and reputation
