Executive Director
About St. Albert Gymnastics Club
For over 50 years, St. Albert Gymnastics Club has been a cornerstone of the community—introducing children and youth to movement, confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love of sport. We are a community-based, not-for-profit organization offering high-quality recreational and competitive gymnastics programming in a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.
What truly sets our club apart is our people. Many of our coaches and staff grew up as athletes within the club and returned years—sometimes decades—later to build careers here. This continuity has created a strong culture rooted in pride, accountability, and care for the athletes and families we serve. That culture is supported by thoughtful governance and sound financial stewardship, ensuring the long-term sustainability of the organization.
As we look ahead, we are seeking an Executive Director who will honour this legacy while guiding the club confidently into its next chapter.
The Opportunity
The Executive Director (ED) is the senior administrative leader of the organization, responsible for people leadership, operational excellence, and financial sustainability. The ED provides leadership and oversight for approximately 40 staff members, including full-time and part-time employees, and works closely with senior coaches and program leads. This role is ideal for a leader who values strong relationships and strong systems—someone who understands that a healthy culture and disciplined financial management go hand in hand.
The successful candidate will be supported by an engaged volunteer Board and a committed staff team with deep roots in the organization.
