Executive Assistant (Student Placement) - 3 Roles - Director of Education, Board

Role Overview:

Young Bosses in Business Foundation (YBIB) is a youth-focused Canadian charity supporting

entrepreneurship, leadership, and real-world skill-building for young people.

The Executive Assistant supports an assigned leader with scheduling support, meeting

preparation, documentation, and relevant administrative tasks as needed. Reports to the

assigned leader.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and format emails, documents, and internal updates as assigned
• Prepare meeting notes and help track action items
• Maintain trackers, files, and internal documents in an organized way
• Support planning/admin tasks aligned with the assigned leader’s priorities
• Support coordination using Trello and Google Suite as assigned
• Coordinate quick updates via WhatsApp as needed

Skills & Qualifications:

• Best suited for college/university students enrolled in Business Admin, Office Admin, Nonprofit Management, Project Management, Communications, or related programs, and

completing field placement hours

• Strong organization, professionalism, and attention to detail
• Comfortable using or learning Google Suite, trello, whatsapp, canva
• Able to handle confidential information appropriately
