How You’ll Help

Be part of the team that brings BEST Move to life! Event Volunteers help create a welcoming, fun, and safe experience for all attendees. You’ll assist with set-up, greet visitors, support activities, and help keep things running smoothly throughout the day.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome guests and provide event information
• Assist with activity areas such as the Bike Pageant, Living Streets walk, or fundraising booth
• Support event set-up and take-down (tents, tables, signage)
• Monitor event spaces to ensure they remain safe, tidy, and accessible
• Direct attendees to amenities like water stations, and the beer garden

What You Bring

• Friendly, approachable personality and willingness to help
• Comfort interacting with people of all ages and backgrounds
• Ability to work on your feet for several hours (breaks provided)
• Bonus: Experience with events, customer service, or community outreach

Special Notes

• Event date: Sunday, August 24, 2025, at David Lam Park, Vancouver
• Shifts available between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm (set-up, event, and take-down)
• Volunteers receive a t-shirt, refreshments, and a certificate of appreciation
