About this Position
Volunteer with the Events and Outreach Program, assisting with event coordination, set-up, registration, participant support, and social media tasks. This role requires the ability to multitask, solve, contribute creative solutions, and track progress in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support event planning and logistics
- Assist with vendor communication
- Design or update flyers and social media posts for events and workshops
- Track completed tasks
Skill Development Goals:
- Develop and/or enhance customer service, teamwork, organizational and communication skills
- Gain additional experience in administration
- Enhance knowledge of social service environment, community and employment resources available
Qualifications:
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, Canva, and CapCut
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Speaking additional languages is a big asset.

- Two references (1 personal, 1 professional)
- Sterling BackCheck (instructions provided after acceptance)
Training:
- Specific training related to the position will be provided in addition to comprehensive orientation about WoodGreen services, programs, mission and vision.
Commitment:
- 3 Month commitment
- 10-15 hours per week during workdays
Location:
- 2206 Eglinton Avenue East
