Event Coordinator

We are seeking a volunteer who wants to gain experience by running one (or more?) of our key fundraising events during the year, namely, a well established golf tournament, and a well established gala in the Brampton / Caledon area.

Previous volunteers who ran these events for several years are still engaged and available to provide all historical and strategic information about how these events have been run successfully in the past, but all events can be evolved to suit what may be better in the future!

We are a 49 year old non-profit that generates funds to support agricultural development projects in rural/remote parts of a few countries in Central and South America.

You will work with a volunteer Executive Director, who is a 33-year veteran of the charitable sector in Canada (4 universities, 3 hospitals, several other organizations), and gain valuable insight into the sector that may help with other career aspirations, networking and connection-making.
