The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate Email Marketing & Newsletter Coordinator to join our volunteer team and help support nurturing the new rollout of our fundraising initiatives. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing the framework to nurture the community in sharing the mission and impact of The Local Charity and Success Accelerator.
Qualifications
- Believing in our cause is mandatory 😃
- Experience as a Copywriter, Content Creator, or a similar role
- Exceptional English language writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives
- Experience with email marketing platforms and newsletter creation (we can support this part if needed)
- Understanding of email marketing best practices and metrics
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations related to email marketing
- Experience in storytelling and impact communication
- Understanding of non-profit sector communications (asset)
Responsibilities
- Design and implement email marketing campaigns and newsletters that highlight our programs, success stories, and impact
- Develop compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences including donors, volunteers, program participants, and community partners
- Maintain and grow our email subscriber list while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations
- Create engaging email templates and newsletter layouts that align with our brand guidelines
- Track and analyze email marketing metrics to optimize performance and engagement
- Collaborate with program teams to gather success stories and impact data
- Write and edit content that effectively communicates our mission and programs
- Manage the editorial calendar for email communications and newsletters
- Ensure consistency in brand voice and messaging across all email communications
