🌍 Volunteer Opportunity – Mentor Team

International Humanity Foundation (IHF)

The International Humanity Foundation (IHF) is a global non-profit organization dedicated to educating and empowering disadvantaged children and communities worldwide. With volunteers working across five continents, IHF promotes ethical leadership, cross-cultural collaboration, and sustainable development.

We are currently seeking experienced, patient, and inspiring leaders to join our Mentor Team.

🔹 Role Overview The Mentor Team provides the "North Star" for our global volunteers. Your mission is to provide professional guidance, emotional support, and technical navigation to junior members and Team Leads. You ensure that as our team grows, our core values of high-level accountability and "Healthy Communication" remain intact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Individual Coaching: Provide 1-on-1 mentorship to new volunteers and emerging Team Leads.
• Skill Development: Help mentees master IHF’s internal systems, from mailbox audits to grant writing.
• Cultural Navigation: Guide international volunteers through the nuances of working in a non-hierarchical, multicultural NGO.
• Retention Support: Act as a sounding board for volunteers facing challenges, helping them find solutions and maintain their commitment.
• Leadership Succession: Identify high-potential volunteers and prepare them for future leadership rotations within IHF.

🔹 Ideal Candidate:

• Significant experience in Leadership, Management, or Coaching.
• Deep understanding of IHF’s mission and "Culture of Leadership."
• High level of empathy, patience, and active listening skills.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback in a professional, encouraging manner.
• Passionate about developing the potential in others.
