Education Coordinator
The Ottawa Amateur Radio Club (OARC) needs a volunteer Education Coordinator to manage the administration of their educational offerings: two 12-week Basic Amateur Radio courses and Morse Code courses per year, some emergency services training, and a handful of technical workshops. Most of these offerings already have one or more volunteer instructors. The Club is looking for someone who can help bring more consistency to all these and find better ways to keep things organized.
Perhaps you are an Amateur Radio operator, or have an interest in Amateur Radio or other technical hobbies. Maybe you are a retired teacher, administrator or other staff person from the education world. Perhaps you have some experience with project management. If you would like to apply your skills to a worthwhile local club, you will find a very appreciative group here!
Be part of a team that shares a passion for Amateur Radio and technical hobbies. Gain experience in administering an education program in a supportive, volunteer-driven environment. A letter of recommendation from the OARC President could be another benefit of a volunteer job well done.
