The Wilderness Committee is currently accepting applications to join our Door Canvass team. Our canvass teams work in residential neighbourhoods to raise awareness of our campaigns and fundraise to support this work. This is an excellent opportunity to build your communication skills and become confident in community engagement.

We are currently hiring Door Canvassers in:

• Vancouver, BC
• Winnipeg, MB
• Victoria, BC
• Toronto, ON

For applicants outside these regions, we are hiring a limited number of remote Phone Canvassers.

Position Overview

• Weekday shifts approximately 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm
• Weekend shifts available
• Full-time and part-time opportunities
• Performance-based pay: guaranteed base plus incentive, to $300+ per shift
• Additional compensation for eligible drivers

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Full training is provided.

Qualifications:

• Excellent oral communication skills
• Concern for wilderness and wildlife
• Outgoing, positive, dedicated
• Well organized with an eye for detail
• Willing to participate in ongoing education and skill-building
• Resilience and ability to remain positive and professional when facing rejection
