Donor Relations Associate (volunteer)

Organization: Gibraltar Leadership Academy (GLA)
Location: Remote with option to attend occasional in-person meetings or events (GTA-based preferred)
Commitment: Part-time volunteer (flexible hours), 10 months (September 2025 to June 2026)

Role Summary

The Donor Relations Associate will help GLA build a strong donor engagement and fundraising strategy. This is an ideal role for someone interested in nonprofit fundraising, communications, and relationship-building. The role involves both technical support (Salesforce setup) and creative input (donor messaging and campaigns).

Key Responsibilities

• Help set up and configure GLA’s Salesforce charity account.
• Develop messaging and communications for donor outreach and engagement.
• Assist in designing a donor recognition and appreciation strategy.
• Support the creation of fundraising campaigns and donation strategies.
• Work with staff to track donor data and ensure proper stewardship.
• Provide recommendations for improving donor relations processes.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in fundraising, donor relations, or communications.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Passion for community-building and nonprofit growth.
