2025 Donation Processing and Data Entry Volunteer Food Banks Mississauga’s vision is a Mississauga where everyone is food secure.

Purpose The Donation Processing and Data Entry Volunteer will support the Development team by processing donations in a timely manner and providing exceptional customer service to donors. Responsibilities ● Process financial and in-kind donations (mail, cash, cheque, credit card, online, phone-in,

food) and create donor, gift, pledge and payment records

● Enter data from external systems (e.g. MailChimp, Canada Helps, Paypal, Benevity, Primarius (food inventory system), etc.) using import technology and/or by manual data entry from reports generated by these systems

● Produce receipts and acknowledgment letters

● Follow up with lapsed monthly donors to update payment information via phone, email, and mail

● Perform database administration tasks such as duplicate record merging, clean-up, and quality control

● Participate and provide assistance in activities, initiatives, and special projects as requested Qualifications ● Experience with data entry/databases, working with Raiser’s Edge an asset ● Strong attention to detail

● Basic Google Suite, MS word & MS excel skills

● Demonstrated work ethic and passion to further Food Banks Mississauga’s mission

Reports to: Upasana Datta Pal, Donor Care & Database Specialist Location: 4544 Eastgate Parkway, Mississauga (this is an in person role) Duration: 12 month minimum commitment Time Commitment: Minimum one four-hour shift per week. Number of shifts may increase to two to three per week from September to February. Training Provided: On-site training will be provided
