Swansea Kids’ Place – Inspiring Young Minds, Nurturing Bright Futures
Director
(onsite role in Toronto)
Salary – $110,000 to $120,000 – plus benefits
Nestled inside Swansea Public School, Swansea Kids’ Place (SKP) is a trusted, non-profit, fully licensed child care centre with a proud history of helping children thrive. Since 1981, we’ve focused on providing exceptional before-and-after-school programs for school-aged children, and since 2014, engaging, nurturing programs for kindergarten students.
At SKP, quality comes first. Every Kindergarten program is led by Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECEs) who meet our own rigorous standards—exceeding the Ministry of Education’s requirements. In both our School Age and Kindergarten programs, we ensure higher-than-required staffing levels of RECEs, supported by trained, caring staff members who create a safe and stimulating environment every day. Our Programs Include:
- Before & After-School Care (10-month program)
- Supervised Lunch Program
- Full-Day Care on PA Days, Winter Break, and March Break
At SKP, children are active participants in their own learning. We believe kids learn best when they follow their natural curiosity, so we give them the freedom to explore, ask questions, solve problems, and connect with friends—all while being guided by caring, knowledgeable educators.
