Role Summary
We are seeking a Volunteer Director of Marketing to lead our digital marketing and communications strategy. This role is vital to expanding the reach of the Foundation by managing our social media presence, growing our audience, and ensuring our message of compassion and justice for animals reaches more people.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, post, and manage engaging content across the Foundation’s social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, TikTok).
Create and schedule posts that align with the Foundation’s mission, campaigns, and events.
Monitor analytics and engagement to refine strategies and maximize reach.
Respond to messages, comments, and community engagement in a professional and compassionate manner.
Collaborate with the Executive Director and team to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
Explore creative approaches (e.g., reels, videos, infographics) to increase awareness and support.
Qualifications
Passion for animal rights, humane education, and nonprofit advocacy.
Experience with social media platforms, content creation, or digital marketing.
Strong written communication and storytelling skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Creative mindset with an eye for design and audience engagement.
Commitment to dedicating at least 30 minutes per day to the role.
