Director, Fundraising (Grants)

This role collaborates with the Board to evolve, co-create and deliver on our strategic plan which includes the objective of creating a sustainable volunteer driven infrastructure. As the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Fundraising, you will continue to evolve, innovate and drive our fundraising efforts and support strategy which currently includes: national sponsorships, government grants and in-kind donations. The role's primary focus will be to build a robust pipeline of opportunities that will support the stability and ambitions of LIC. This individual will additionally be responsible to manage our portfolio of sponsor relationships (past and present), both monetary and non-monetary, as well as our sponsors, to ensure a comfortable cash flow position. Ultimately, our ambition would be to support regional event sponsorship and fundraising opportunities.

Commitment Required:

• Monthly participation in evening Board meetings.
• 2-3 hours per week working with the Board and community networks.
• 1-3 hours per week directly engaging with partners.
• Collaboration with the board members on initiatives.
• Annual planning day/retreat in the spring.
• Identifying prospects and fundraising opportunities for the Board.
