Milton Community Resource Centre (MCRC) is a not–for-profit, multi-service organization that provides services to children and families of Milton and the surrounding communities. MCRC focuses on the growth, development and empowerment of children and families through our programs and services. We have an emphasis on breaking barriers that are faced by women and girls within our community, and create programming to support these and other marginalized identities.
Our programs include:
• Licensed child care programs • Early ON programs • Family Fun programs • Artists and Children Together • The Halton Resource Connection • Empowerment Programs including Infant Food Bank, She Can!, and Period Power Initiative • Stop Now and Plan (SNAP)

MCRC is currently seeking a CPA candidate with experience working in the not-for profit sector for a minimum 2-year commitment to:
Support in monitoring expenditures and income through the monthly statement • Assist with reporting to the community and stakeholders by supporting the annual Financial Report at the Annual General Meeting Support the development and observation of the organization's financial policies Support and provide guidance to the Executive Director in accordance with the Board of Directors By-laws • Provide expertise and advice in the development of the overall strategic direction of the organization • Support and assist in the development of philanthropic resources and fundraising efforts; attend MCRC fundraising events • Understand and influence, where necessary, public policies that affect MCRC Network within the community and advocate on behalf of the organization Monitor and evaluate the Executive Director’s performance
Familiarity with the Halton community and/or experience in the not-for-profit sector are considered strong assets.
