Director of Clinical Operations (Full-time, Permanent)

Salary Range: $92,144 to $98,772

Our organization is seeking a dedicated and experienced director to lead a team providing mental health services to children, youth, and families. The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality treatment and support while contributing to the overall leadership and strategic direction of the organization. The successful candidate will work in close partnership with the Director of Clinical Quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical supervision to clinical staff in the agency
  • Lead program development and contribute to program evaluation
  • Participate in the preparation of strategic and operational plans
  • Engage community partners in developing integrated services
  • Provide consultation in complex client cases and high-risk situations
  • Work closely with the Director of Clinical Quality to support CQI and Accreditation activities

Communication:

  • Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills for composing reports, leading client and staff meetings, and public engagement
  • Teach clinical skills and interpret policies and strategic directions
  • Develop proposals to support program and service initiatives
  • Work closely with the Director of Clinical Quality and Director of Finance as members of the management team

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or equivalent (with ability to perform the controlled act of Psychotherapy).
  • Certified training in Clinical Supervision

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience providing family, individual, and group therapy.

Skills & Competencies:

Leadership:

  • Ability to plan, organize, and implement programs that impact clinical practice.
  • Strong motivational skills with the ability to provide clear direction and support to staff.
  • High emotional intelligence with a focus on staff well-being.
  • Experience in critical incident debriefing and risk management.

Clinical Supervision:

  • Must have the ability and the authorization to provide clinical supervision to MSW, Registered Psychotherapists and Child and Youth Workers (including qualifying RP’S)

Human Relations:

  • Strong conflict-resolution and advocacy skills.
  • Experience in crisis stabilization and debriefing.
