ROLE

Endeavour Volunteer Consulting for Non-Profits is seeking a dedicated volunteer to join the Alumni Relations Portfolio as the Director of Alumni Relations (Fundraising).

In this role, you will focus on building and cultivating relationships with alumni to generate financial support and drive fundraising efforts for the organization. Your work will ensure the sustainability and growth of the organization to achieve its mission and the nonprofits that it serves.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership
  • Lead the Fundraising team with a focus on creating and executing effective fundraising strategies to secure financial support
  • Develop and manage a robust fundraising program that encourages ongoing financial contributions
  • Design and implement fundraising campaigns and events, including corporate matching programs, annual giving, major gifts, and planned giving opportunities
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key alumni donors, ensuring they are engaged, recognized, and informed of the impact their contributions have made
Organizational Contribution
  • Oversee and maintain the fundraising database using Salesforce CRM
  • Collaborate effectively with other teams to support overall organizational goals
  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies that align with Endeavour’s long-term objectives
As the Director, Alumni Relations (Fundraising), you will also be responsible for:
  • Assisting the Vice President, Alumni Relations in planning, developing, and executing fundraising initiatives
  • Participating in regular portfolio meetings to review and strategize on fundraising efforts
QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
  • Proven success in designing and executing initiatives, events, and programs to attract funds and grants
  • Experience managing multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Have a passion for and interest in the non-profit sector
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage team members
  • Have a proactive mindset in identifying and implementing new initiatives
  • Ability to collaborate and deliver results in a virtual work environment
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Preferred:
  • Experience in fundraising, donor relations or development strategy
  • Prior volunteer experience with Endeavour
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) or similar platforms
