ROLE

Endeavour Volunteer Consulting for Non-Profits is seeking a dedicated volunteer to join the Alumni Relations Portfolio as the Director of Alumni Relations (Clients).

In this role, you will be responsible for building and nurturing a strong, engaged, and supportive alumni community. Your efforts will help ensure continued collaboration with Endeavour, fostering lasting relationships that drive ongoing positive impact for nonprofit organizations and their missions long after the completion of consulting projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership
  • Lead and manage the Alumni Relations (Clients) team, including recruitment, staffing, and maximizing team members' skills and expertise
  • Design, implement, and oversee programs and initiatives to engage and attract the alumni community
  • Develop and manage the team’s work plan to ensure high-quality deliverables are achieved within set timelines
  • Represent Alumni Relations team on cross-functional committees (IT, Marketing, etc.) to develop and implement stakeholder management strategies and frameworks
Organizational Contribution
  • Oversee and maintain the alumni database using Salesforce CRM
  • Collaborate effectively with other teams to support overall organizational goals
  • Develop and implement alumni relations strategies that align with Endeavour’s long-term objectives
As a Director, Alumni Relations (Clients), you will also be responsible for:
  • Assisting the Vice President, Alumni Relations in planning, developing, and executing alumni relations programs and initiatives
  • Participating in regular portfolio meetings to review and strategize on alumni engagement efforts
QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
  • Proven success in designing and executing initiatives, events, and programs that engage alumni
  • Experience managing multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • A passion for and interest in the non-profit sector
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage team members
  • A proactive mindset in identifying and implementing new initiatives
  • Ability to collaborate and deliver results in a virtual work environment
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
Preferred:
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, alumni relations or community outreach
  • Prior volunteer experience with Endeavour
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
