Key Responsibilities
Digital Communications Execution
- Format and publish digital content across email, social media, and other web platforms, bringing campaigns to life.
- Leverage digital platforms like Constant Contact, Buffer, Canva, and Luminate Online (Blackbaud), WordPress to run campaigns smoothly and efficiently.
- Apply your HTML skills to tweak layouts, fix formatting hiccups, and optimize digital content for a flawless user experience.
- Ensure brand consistency, while respecting accessibility and readability guidelines across all channels.
- Help document workflows and best practices related to digital tools and systems
- Stay current on trends in digital communications, CRMs, and nonprofit technology
- Support basic reporting, list preparation, assist with tracking and interpreting digital performance metrics (email engagement, form conversions, microsite activity)
Fundraising
- Edit and maintain fundraising microsites and registration platforms, including layout updates, content changes, and formatting.
- Create and update donation, registration, feedback forms, helping fundraising and event campaigns run smoothly and brilliantly.
- Working closely with the Community Fundraising Manager, act as the main point of contact for technical issues reported by users
- Maintain database accuracy by managing data entry, organizing lists, applying tags, and segmenting contacts for smooth, reliable campaigns.
- Spot and resolve data inconsistencies in collaboration with internal teams.
- Collaborate with fundraising, and marketing teams on campaigns
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress)
- Experience with producing landing pages, forms, and microsite creation
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS for formatting and troubleshooting digital content
- Able to communicate with users with patience and kindness
- Proficiency in list management, tagging, and segmentation
- Strong proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken
- Reside within the greater Montreal area
- Knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact, Mail Chimp)
- Knowledge of social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite), an asset
- Comfortable with basic graphic design and layout tools (Canva, Adobe or other), an asset
Preferred Qualifications
- A university, college, or certificate program in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience
- Detail oriented
- Able to work from home independently
- Able to multitask and work on deadlines
- Collaborative and able to support multiple teams
- Excited about supporting a great cause through digital engagement.
- Eager to learn new platforms, ways to make them better, and keep current
